Prepping Your Article & Converting Your Article
First step is to prepare your article by drawing out additional tips, advice, or how
to’s with in the article.  You’ll then use this information to build or expand on.
Next, let me explain how to take what you have already created and turn them
into other products.

1.        The Pay For View Webcast
Turning your article into a webcast is ideal for generating traffic, growing your list
and spawning leads.  After prepping your article and extracting additional
information, you can then move them to slide format.  Each point can be made
into 2-4 slides with details, infographics, links and resources..  The webcast can
then be used as a pay per view download or a free tool to promote another level
of service or product.

2.        The Audio CD
Take your article and record yourself “speaking” (not reading), the article. There
are many free software programs available for download to help you burn the
recording to a CD.  Create additional value by adding templates or resources to
the CD. Once the CD is produced, use it as a promotional tool to get a meeting
with that hard to reach executive.  It can also be used as a tradeshow
promotional item.

3.        A lively podcast
A single article can be used to create multiple podcast shows where you
separate out individual points outlined in your article and elaborate on one single
point with a guest speaker.  Podcasts work wonders building creditability,
building personal brands and driving web traffic.

4.        A Seminar
A seminar or workshop is also an excellent way to increase your leads.  Instead
of mining for one lead at a time, you can bring in multiple leads at a time by filling
a room with prospects eager to learn from you.  In this case, you’ll want to take
the webcast created from you one article and now present it in person. Add a
little Q&A at the end and…Voila!  You’ve got yourself a seminar presentation.  Add
some time and worksheets to your presentation and you’ve got yourself a
workshop that brings in paying customers that you can up sell on other products
or services

5.        An eBook
In this case, you’ll need multiple articles to create an eBook. A range of 3-5
articles could suffice depending on the subject.  Each chapter in an eBook comes
from a particular point in the articles.  For example, take three articles, all relating
to the same subject, with each article containing three major points. Build upon
each point within the three articles so that they will be their own separate
chapter. Add a Forward, an Introduction or even an epilogue and you’re on your
way to creating your eBook. eBooks are great marketing tools for a business for
there are multiple uses for them: a revenue stream, growing a marketing list, a
give-away at events or a promotional item at exhibit shows.
